Militant black protesters and Jewish worshipers warily eyed each other from behind police lines in Brooklyn yesterday as the demonstrators vented anger over a Hasidic driver who had struck an African-American child. The 40-some members of the New Black Panther Party demonstrating on Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, were angry the driver who struck and critically injured 3-year-old Tiamani Gittens hasn't been charged.
Motorist Solomon Stern, 42, was rescued from an angry mob by three black good Samaritans after the Aug. 20 accident.
The protesters gathered at the crash scene in Prospect Heights and marched about 12 blocks to the Crown Heights Jewish Council, chanting, "Solomon Stern, come out of hiding. Solomon Stern ran over our baby."
Temple members said Stern doesn't worship there.
"It doesn't matter which synagogue he belongs to," said protest leader Malik Shabazz of Brooklyn. "If Mr. Stern is allowed to get away with it, then anyone in their community can get away with it, too."
A few of the protesters made anti-Semitic remarks, calling Jews "evil" and saying they were "preying" on the black community. "Go eat some matzo," one yelled.
Daphne Gittens, 64, Tiamani's grand-aunt, disavowed the protest.
"We just want everybody with the synagogue to know that we don't have anything to do with that," she said. "We are just looking for the child to get better."
Tiamani remained in intensive care yesterday, Gittens said.
In this case, the child RAN INTO THE STREET.
It's a very dense neighborhood, where frictional happenstance incorporates these tragedies.

But it seems trouble only erupts when it's a Hassidic driver and a black kid.

Dressed in Naziesque uniform and Malcolm X designer glasses, and surrounded by a unit of Muslims thugs in black berets and paramilitary gear, who defiantly chanted "Black power!" on cue, Shabazz spewed anti-Semitic and anti-American rhetoric for hours at the National Press club this week.
Shabazz defended Osama bin Laden, blamed President Bush for the 9-11 attacks, called our founding fathers "snakes" and terrorists. He spewed minute after minute of unrelenting hate-speech attacking Catholicism, Christians, Jews, cops, and America in general.
"The only solution any time there is a funeral in the black community is a funeral in the police community,"
"Zionists in Hollywood, the Zionists in New York, and the Zionists in D.C. all collaborate to oppress blacks and Muslims."
Many thanks Malik. No one could have underscored the self-serving hypocrisy, intolerance, racism and hate of the radical-left and Islamofascism better. Rot in hell you sonofabitch…
Kind of ironic, this comming from a person in a group who loves to shout "racism" so that members of their "community" can get away with anything.
