When your country is attacked there can be no such thing as an "anti-war" movement. Protesters against America's war on terror, are not peaceniks, they are America-haters and saboteurs, and they should be treated as such."The flag has become a symbol of US aggression towards other countries," declared Jessica Quindel, president of the Graduate Assembly at UC Berkeley as she explained why she and her comrades tried to ban the red, white and blue for the university's 9/11 remembrance. Jessica Quindel is what I call a traitor of the heart, someone who shares with Osama Bin Laden the belief that America is the Great Satan and who would aid and abet any enemy, Bin Laden, Saddam Hussein -- it really doesn't matter -- before she would embrace her own country and its defense. This is the creed of the sick Fifth Column in this country, whose base is the pc university and whose intellectual gurus are Noam Chomsky and Howard Zinn. To call these wretched people Benedict Arnolds would be an insult to a man who did betray his country but did so, at least, in behalf of a tolerant democracy. These post-modern traitors do it in behalf of murderers and fanatics, do it in behalf of nothing more, really, than a blind, fanatical hate, which is really a self-hate.
Let us respect their right to express themselves, but let us not make the mistake of respecting them.
It would be great fun to be at college again. I wished they did ban it, it would then be a lot of fun to get all your beer drinking to buddies to start flying the flag on campus. What could they do to you? Arrest? Flag burning sensitivity training? Fart in your general direction?
I share your sentiment. But let me give you a hint about this overall picture:
Look BOTH ways...
What a great quote.
Cuts straight to the point, doesn't it?
FWIW, hate hurts the ones holding on to that hate than it does the targets of the hate. I'm not talking about overt acts of aggression against those who are hated. I'm talking about the boiling cauldrons which are the haters' souls. It takes a lot of energy and passion to hate. That cannot be a healthy way to live.
They're ideological dinosaurs, desperately clinging to a creed that is worse than outmoded, it is now unstylish.
Anyhow, I haven't been able to put out of my mind something I saw on one of the talk shows recently. The guest was one of these pacifist types that I have no patience for. I view them as human leeches that survive because I and others are willing to do their dirty work of protecting them. I really despised them. Anyhow, the talk show host asked her what she would do if someone broke in to her house. She didn't respond so he repeated the question. Then her response was a pathetic, surrendering smile and the words, "I'm a pacifist". Enough to turn my stomach. I'd just as soon let the wolves eat these lambs. We as a society shouldn't have to carry them.
These scum sucking dirt bags, may not necessarily be anti war, as much as they are anti American. Most would love to see the US defeated in war, and they are the same SOBs who are still POd that we defeated their favorite country, the Soviet Union.
You don't know how much I agree with your statements here. You just don't know.
I have absolutely no respect for pacifists, even as a human beings. They're unworthy of any respect.
We as a society shouldn't have to carry them.
You got that right!
I see your point. But what about those on the Right whose arguments are indistinguishable from the Bolsheviks on the Left? They are just as traitorous as the "peaceniks."
What about them?
Who are they? I have no idea who you are referring to. Please explain, so I can answer intelligently.
