Police find cocaine on Florida Governor Bush's daughter

Police find cocaine on Florida Governor Bush's daughter By MIKE BRANOM Associated Press Writer ORLANDO -- Gov. Jeb Bush's daughter was found with cocaine at a rehabilitation center where she is undergoing drug treatment, police said Tuesday.

Police were called to the Center for Drug Free Living in Orlando late Monday, where workers gave them a substance they said they found on Noelle Bush, 25, Police Sgt. Orlando Rolon said.

The workers told police that the two grams of powder tested positive for cocaine, but police didn't immediately arrest her because they couldn't obtain a sworn statement that she was in possession of cocaine, Rolon said.

The investigation will continue, said Rolon, who added that police hadn't interviewed Noelle Bush as of Tuesday morning.

Possession of any amount of cocaine is a felony, said police.

She was arrested in January at a Tallahassee pharmacy drive-through window for allegedly trying to buy the anti-anxiety drug Xanax with a fraudulent prescription.

In July, Noelle Bush was found to be in contempt of court because a worker at the treatment center found her carrying prescription pills. A judge sent her to jail for three days.

people look terrible after they have been incarcerated.

I expect so, but BOTH those pictures were taken BEFORE she was incarcerated.

Apparently 'Chui's Rehab Clinic' wasn't the best choice.

Does this new attitude of your extend to everybody?

You still don't get it(or intentionally don't want to get it).

Noelle's life is already in ruins because of drugs.

Whoa, that makes too much sense!

But keep in mind that treatment is preferred over incarceration by the anti-Wodders on this board since drugs are really a "social" problem and the solution is more treatment centers. And only the person using drugs knows whether or not it's a problem because who are we to judge?

Very christian remark. Pray for yourself, ask forgiveness

Do you think you could spare one of your precious prayers for Noelle and her family? Seeing your daily dose of vitriol I doubt it.

"My sentiments exactly. I expect the Drug Warrior crowd to condemn this low-life doper drug addict p-o-s hippie Libertoonian."

I guess we can't all be perfect like Chelsea Clinton, huh? Point being that the Liberal Dimocrat Media puts the family of Republicans under a microscope, while Miss Clinton got a free pass. More Hypocrisy from the pro-dope crowd!

In a treatment center, wouldn't this be probable cause for a drug test. Seems like that could resolve fairly quickly whether it was a plant or not.

Say a prayer for Noelle, she needs them. Oh that's right you are a Libertarian if you did beleive in God, you would probably try to sell your prayers.

Where are your prayers for everyone who's locked up on drug charges? Where's your sympathy for people who get blasted away during no-knock raids? The hypocracy around here is stifling. Bush babies get prayers, the Mk 1 Mod 0 weed smokers get lock 'em up and throw away the key. Y'all sound like the hawkish senators during Vietnam who supported the war---as long as it was fought by poor kids, not their own little darling perfumed princes.

And for the last time, I'm not a member of any political party, so the anti-Libertarian verbage you hurl my way means nothing to me.

Obviously, this woman has a drug problem -- and legalization is her solution?

No, the solution is general population, federal slammer, as soon as possible.

The vitirol I display here is in direct proportion to the lies I see told daily by so called Christians like you. You ask for prayer for someone as a way to lift yourself up. Not to glorify God. It is a form of taking the Lord's name in vain.

That's the oddest line of the story.

"Get real, this woman is sick, not the victim of some grand Democratic conspricy. I don't care whose daughter she is, what party her parents belong to, she is one troubled person."

Oh I agree she is very sick but I have seen political machinations along these lines before...it isn't conspiracy, just the same old political card game.

My prayers go out to any family that drugs have ravaged and my prayers also go out to the innocent victims of drug raids, but you know what there are more than a million more families that will be ravaged by drug abuse than be ravaged by a botched raid. My prayers also go out to the police officers(the people who the Libertarians and "Constitutionalists" on FR hate with every fiber of their being) who have put their lives on the line dealing with drug scum.

JMO, but I would say that your prayers go out to the drug scum who kill police officers.

Who I pray for or what I pray for doesn't need to be advertised on a public bulletin board for my own self-glorification. I like that line in the Bible that says more or less to keep your prayers between you and God---not to go parading them around in public so everyone can relish in how great and good you are.
