I like that line in the Bible that says more or less to keep your prayers between you and God---not to go parading them around in public so everyone can relish in how great and good you are

Welcome to the world where asking for prayers for others in need is a hate crime.

BTW, what is that line and verse in the Bible since you have become a Bible scholar all of the sudden.

JMO, but I don't think that God would condemn a person asking for prayers of those in need.

A hate crime? You do have a flair for the dramatic, Dane.

Here's your Bible cite:

Matthew 6:5
And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites [are]: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Matthew 6:6
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

Matthew 6:7
But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen [do]: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.
