On the rare occasion I've seen snake owners out in public showing off their snakes and letting people pet them and hold them and stuff,I've often wondered what would happen if a ten foot Boa started strangling someone.

My constant companion. I feel naked without this clipped to my strong side back pocket.

That sucker would saw through a boa so fast it would make your head spin.

Snake petting is not one of my favorite hobbys,but yeah,I think your tactic is one to keep in mind should anyone ask me to hold their "nice snake" for a minute.In reality,I don't hate or fear snakes,I enjoy watching them,although I am leery of Rattlesnakes around some fishing spots I'm known to visit sometimes.When in doubt,shoot first,cut off the tail later...........
