I believe this exchange went:

Curchill - "Madam your ARE ugly!"

Lady Astor "Winston... I do believe you're drunk!"

Curchill -"I may be drunk but in the morning you'll still be ugly".

That was actually an exchange with Bessie Braddock, a Labour MP. She found him drunk in the House of Commons and she said: "Winston, you're drunk."

Winston replied, "Yes, I am very very drunk. And you are very very ugly. And in the morning, I shall be sober."
