Blair is facing a Labour revolt over this.

Indeed. But he's showing genuine guts in facing them down. Fortunately he got one of the most left wing members of the cabinet, John Prescott, to support him. I think he's going to win this one.

And in the glow of victory, basically the Labour Party will be bent to his will. Which is really rather funny. ;)

I must say, Blair has been superb! This is a master stroke, to release the information in the UK rather than here.

I actually think they have known about the Al Qaeda presence in Iraq since last January, when the President named the Axis of Evil. I will bet there is proof of Al Qaeda in the other two countries as well.

In one of his press briefings a couple of weeks ago, Rumfeld said Al Qaeda was in Iraq, but the Pentagon press people just let that slide by.
