In a defeat that startled analysts, Kennedy relative Mark K. Shriver lost the Democratic primary last week in Marylands 8th Congressional District. A Kennedy had not tasted defeat at the polls since 1986, when Kathleen Kennedy Townsend lost her bid for the U.S. House in Maryland.

It's only a matter of time before some girl connected to the Kennedy's is found dead somewhere - drowning, bludgeoning, etc. Then all the little old ladies will sigh and flock to the polls to vote Kennedy once again.

”... A top Republican campaign official said Mr. Shriver was not a perfect fit for the Maryland district.

What this means is their black base has finally begun to see the truth of the democratic message...”keep ‘em down on the plantation” and they are leaving in droves.

Perhaps people no longer want to vote for a family that has a high likely hood of being killed in office.

The Loser

The Kennedys always appeal to the downtrodden....

One has to wonder why. Do the Kennedys invite the downtrodden to the "compound", say for a day of sailing, a cookout or perhaps they underwrite a ski trip in the winter?

What this means is their black base has finally begun to see the truth of the democratic message..

Yesterday, as I was walking through the parking lot of a local market, I noticed a car with an Ehrlich-Steele bumper sticker (Maryland Republican Gov-LT Gov candidates) on it waiting for a parking space. As the car window was open I enquired of the driver where I might get such a sticker. The kind lady of Afican descent smiled and replied all you need to do is ask. Reached into the back seat and handed me one.

Hope springs eternal.

The Kennedys "appeal to the downtrodden"? They use them but they don't have a thing to do with them, unless they clean their house, cook their food or tend their brats. The phoniest family in America.

They should take their sense of noblesse oblige and hang it up. The younger generation doesn't know much about them, except that one of them was President of the United States a long time ago and he got whacked by Russian spies and the Maffia or whatever.

Most of the downtrodden are too smart to try to play touch football on the ski slopes!

..or tend their brats.

Didn't a Kennedy get in trouble for "servicing" the babysitter? So many scandals...

After 2000 when the percentage of them voting Dem actually increased and is a rock solid 80-90% despite Bush's unprecidented outreach and established track record in Texas, I'm not the least bit hopeful. The black vote is owned, part and parcel by the Democratic party. Both parties can save resources and effectively disregard them, they aren't going anywhere.

Gee, considering that, I'd vote for them myself.

Eggs-zak-lee.

Looking at your picture (Thanks, by the way): $50 haircut and silk tie, $2000 pin-stripe suit, orthodontist bills out-the-wazoo..........."Vote for me and I'll set you free".

Yeah, yeah! I remember that!
But the boat thing triggered something else - - didn't one of the Kennedys kidnap a woman a few years ago on a boat? And the woman actually called the Coast Guard to come save her? That was another crazy-rich Kennedy thing, right?

It was a case of "molesting",not "servicing". She was 14,and he was in his 30's. Her parents, being good little Dims, refused to press charges or allow their daughter to give evidence against him. He's not much of a threat anymore, since he didn't have such good luck molesting the tree he ran into while skiing.
