Laura is absolutely stunning in this picture!!

I will NEVER take for granted this beautiful woman, and the fresh, pure air she and her husband have brought to the White House!!!

btw, isn't that Alma Powell next to Lynn Cheney?

Yes, I do believe that is Alma Powell next to Lynne. Laura is such a breath of fresh air and her husband is phenomenal.

Did y'all catch Dick Morris's glowing assessment of W and his political skills? As much as I hate to admit it, Clinton did have political skills but W so surpasses him because beyond his political skill and acumen is a real man who means what he says. Clinton's political skills fell short because he didn't have the character to back them up.

I don't think I've said this today but I LOVE OUR PRESIDENT!!

I was looking for something else and found this detailed explanation on Yahoo about Tweed Roosevelt's presentation yesterday to W: (The explanation is still a bit obfuscatory .)

President Bush watches as Theodore "Tweed" Roosevelt, great grandson of former President Theodore Roosevelt, points to the Noble Peace Prize awarded to former President Roosevelt in 1906 during the presentation of President Theodore Roosevelt's Medal of Honor in the Roosevelt Room of the White House Monday, Sept. 16, 2002 in Washington. The Medal of Honor was awarded posthumously to the Roosevelt family in 2001 and was being returned to the White House to be on display along side Roosevelt's Nobel Peace Prize.
