If you believe this is a private matter, take it up privately.

To the contrary. I think the reputation of the DC Chapter is a very public matter. And I'll also note that it's not your fault in the least the subject was brought up.

While I can appreciate the motivation at times for explaining privately comments made publicly on the forum, this isn't one of them.

I've offered what I think are some perfectly understandable and logical reasons the DC Chapter wants to stay "as-is" and I see no reason anyone couldn't come to those same conclusions, ignore the subject entirely or direct all questions directly to Angelwood or Kristinn ... it being always best to go to straight to the source as I did when I wrote to you.

(Not that I don't appreciate Jim's making things perfectly clear in your stead.)

Regards.

Let me make it explicit for you: This is not a topic for public debate. Jim has stated as much in a manner that could not be any more clear: And being as how it is personal, I'd just as soon not have it out on the forum again. Whatever the differences are will have to be worked out privately (if at all possible).

No one's reputation was harmed, a series apodictic and factual statements were made on my part. Only your hemenuetic legerdemain renders my statements harmful to anyone's reputation.

That is all I have to say on this matter.
