In order to register and activate student voters for the fall election, the Democratic National Committee hosted 200 rallies across the country on Tuesday featuring top Democratic leaders. Apparently, things didn't go as planned.

Democratic National Committee Chairman Terry McAuliffe was the star attraction at one such rally at the University of Maryland. There he discovered College Democrats outflanked by youthful College Republicans 67-21.

At the time I didn't know just how right I would be.

I fear you may be putting the cart before the horse. November's still a long ways off.

Our biggest problem right now is helping Jeb Bush. He is only 5% ahead of McBride and all the RAT presidential hopefuls are coming to Florida to appear with him. Money is flowing in from everywhere. I keep telling freepers that the thing McAuliffe and the Clintons want most in the world is to beat Jeb Bush. If they do, they will hold up the victory as a watershed moment and declare Jeb's brother, the President, a one-termer. The media will jump onboard and we will be hurt. I hope everyone understands the import of all of this.

Billy Blythe

Is he the only president that took on a stage name?

This November is not necessarily the long run.

Of course we should be concerned, but do not panic. We know what they want. This article is good because it shows that in a democrat stronghold, Maryland, the Rats do not have the control of even a small rally!

Jeb is a pretty smart politician, as well as a nice guy, and I think he has anticipated this since November, 2000.

College Republicans on the move! How great is that!! There is a tremendous growing force of strong young Conservatives out there!

Apparently even the young are able to see through this farce of a Democrat 'leader.'

McAwful may get ousted over blame for failed campaigns but remember that he has scandals brewing in the background. Getting rid of him before he's taken to task by the national press would protect the image of the Rat party.

Maybe the cart before the donkey, but not the horse. Yes Coop, November's still a long ways off, but that's just gives the Pubbies more time to build momentum. The Demon-craps are reeling with no issues, no ideas, and come off looking like a bunch of petty political hacks criticizing our popular President at a time when the country needs to come together and fight the greatest danger to our freedom since the threat of Communism. (And we know who won that battle!).

The Dems fail to understand that this is not the same country it was before 9-11. The days of the Sinkmeister are OVER!!! We now have a REAL President who is not going to be sending our boys in service to war while he gets serviced by some thong-flashing intern.

How refresing is that?! . . . Top

Based on what? One poll? (If so, please provide the details.) I can show you a Sep Mason-Dixon poll showing Jeb up by 51-39%.

It is refreshing. I'm just not sure it's very realistic. A slight downturn in the economy could make for a VERY depressing evening in early November.

ROTFLMAO!!!! And the pledge of allegiance! Masterful. Score one for my alma mater!

ROTFLMOL also!!! As another poster said, maybe there's hope for America... (If this ever happens at my alma mater I might consider answering one of their letters to alumni, but until then...)

"Mr. McAuliffe began his remarks by thanking the College Republicans for coming. Then the assembled students broke into the Pledge of Allegiance, and the DNC had no choice but to stop his remarks and join them."

Good point weegee. We need to keep the KING RAT in power through the election to remind the public of the scum the Demon-rats respresent.

Of course, with Hitlery chomping at the bit (literally and figuratively) to run for President and in total control of the Dim party, I don't see how she will ever dismiss McCrawliffe until she's through using him to achieve her ultimate goal: President Shrillary.

Talk about your scary thoughts. I'm leaving the country if that nightmare ever becomes a reality . . . Top

PhiKapMom put up a thread this morning impressing upon all of us just how important this is. Jeb needs our help against the clinton/mcauliffe money/slime machine. Just a heads-up. This will be very ugly. We need to do whatever we can to keep Jeb in office.

Racicot struck me as a smart operator. I think he'll be a lot more effective and helpful as RNC Chairman than some people imagine.

There are two polls - I don't have links. One shows Jeb up 49% to 42%, the other 47% to 42%. PhiKapMom put a thread up that included one of these polls. Yes, one was a RAT poll but the other poll was almost identical. This is a full-court press by the DNC and the entire RAT party. They are trying to rouse RATS countrywide to remove Jeb from office. Yes, I'm banging the drum here - if I turn out to be wrong, I'll be grateful - but I don't think I'm wrong at all.

I would have moved away if Dukakis had managed to become president.

I don't know where I'd go now.

New Zealand and Australia politically aren't places to be now, much of South America is too unstable. Canada? England? France? Scandinavian countries??? Nix, nix, nix!

There he discovered College Democrats outflanked by youthful College Republicans 67-21. To make matters worse for the Clinton-picked DNC honcho, he entered the rally's outdoor amphitheater to chants of "Come clean, Terry."

Awesome news...the RATS' corruption may finally being taking its toll!!

I am waiting for the day when thoughtful rank-and-file democrats rid their party with hate-spewing, racial-dividing, ex-Clintonista ego manaics like McAulliffe, Begala, and Carville.

Could be a long wait.
