DETROIT-- About 500 Arab men marched around the McNamara Federal Building Wednesday to voice their anger at Iraqi President Saddam Hussein and to show their support for the United States.
The demonstrators, most of whom were of Iraqi descent, carried signs and banners denouncing Hussein, Local 4 reported. The marchers shouted "down, down Saddam," and "Saddam is a fascist," and made other derogatory remarks against the Iraqi leader.
Many in the group have family in Iraq and are calling for Hussein's ouster, Local 4 reported. The demonstrators favored U.S. military action against Iraq to put an end to the current regime, according to the station.

One goofy anti-war protestor during Rummy's Capitol Hill appearance is invited on CNN and gets a mention on every mainstream media news broadcast yesterday. Meanwhile, 500 Iraqis in Detroit... familiar with Saddam...say to take him out, and the press stays away. Grrrrr.

Good for them! Glad to see them standing up for this, it's really important. Wait until this thing is all over and the Iraqui people are free to chose their own destiny. It's like Afghanistan, there are still people out there who don't understand that the Afghanis have been liberated and are now in the process of electing their own leaders and rebuilding their nation. We're helping, but they are making the choices.
It would seem that most of our media is determined to keep as many people in chains as possible. How can they even look at themselves in the morning?

By any chance, are these the same Muslims that jumped for joy on 9-11; if so, I'm not much interested in what they want and suspect everything they say.

NBC and CNN gave the impression that the anti war protesters and hecklers, were legion, instead of 2 solitary NOW types-sans make up and wearing comfortable shoes. Did CNN and NBC ever mention that clinton was met with protesters and hecklers and in greater numbers than two??

By any chance, are these the same Muslims that jumped for joy on 9-11Probably not. There's a very large Chaldean (Iraqi Christian) community in Oakland County (suburban Detroit). The Muslim Arabs are in Dearborn but don't really have Iraqi roots. My guess is that the protesters were mostly Chaldean, a group that has assimilated fairly well into American culture.

Now, these are my kind of Arabs! :-)))

Monster Media, Monster Government: How to Fight Back, by Diane Alden, May, 2000-
I am not a one-world-globalist but I prefer the international papers because they seem to get it right most of the time. The worldwide connection between like-minded individuals is a blessing. I have received letters from Beijing, New Delhi and Munich and they all ask what is going on in America. A German citizen said, "but you must figure it out, what is happening to your country, you are the world's last hope." Many of the citizens of the world are on our side. This has nothing to do with the U.N. or globalism; it has to do with a worldwide concern that America is losing out to the forces of fascism and collectivism.

of Iraqi anger in Detroit 09-12-01?

By any chance, are these the same Muslims that jumped for joy on 9-11 I don't know and the hyporcricy meter is registering above average.
Do you have a list so we can make a comparison?

Do you have any proof of muslems jumping for joy in america? Here were I live rumors of muslems jumping for joy turned into a protest infront of a "muslem" bussiness yet the owner and those who working in that store were hindus from india who were not even opened that day.

There weren't 500 people. It was more like 70-100. Common signs included "Down with Saddam, Viva Iraqi people" (Viva?). It was all very planned and orderly.
All the Iraqis I've met here hate Saddam. But that doesn't mean they love Uncle Sam...

Don't have a list; just remember reports of Arabs happy in Detroit on 9-11.

How much do they pay you to post?
Believe it or not, The USA has a "street" much more reliable than the "Arab" version. Our BS meter is calibrated higher, and we do not think "Islam is Peace".
But keep trying, we have a longer attention span than you have been led to believe.

just remember reports of Arabs happy in Detroit on 9-11. As I stated, "I don't know" either and I derive no joy in appearing to stand up for the east side of the state I happen to live in.
Just looking for some solid evidence to slam them with.
