"Fighting for oil and those dictatorships that prop up the politics of oil is not worthy of the loss of one more American life," she said.

A) We're not fighting for oil, but for something more valuable-- FREEDOM. B) If we were fighting for oil, Ms. Kaptur (nice Lefty name, BTW) would make sure she got an exemption should gasoline be rationed. That's the Commie way, the rules are always for someone else....

Marcy Kaptur's office is in Toledo, OH. She pulled this same crap during Desert Storm. She even lead a peace protest that closed down the federal building.

Several guard units were called up from Toledo and sent over. Kaptur had the nerve to show up to see them off when they left town. She was LOUDLY booed.

Mrs. Kaptur said it had to do with oil. "Fighting for oil and those dictatorships that prop up the politics of oil is not worthy of the loss of one more American life," she said.

....After making this statement to reporters, she climbed into her Cadillac Escalade and drove off.

If they trulybelieve its about oil, they can vote to drill in ANWR and stop the war before it starts. Drill in America and let the Iraqis drink their oil.
