We can keep pounding away on our computers, pasting our opinions on FR month after month and pull a straight party GOP lever in November and it isn't going to make a damn bit of difference. [Not your comment, Jones, but I'm just next in line following your post.]

Without a party majority in the House and Senate, the dimocrats will continue to support partial birth murder, stall on our efforts to disarm Saddam, etc. The above statement, "... it isn't going to make a damn bit of difference", is patently false and the most obvious of circular arguments. It will be impossible to achieve conservative goals (or even portions of conservative goals --most societal change occurs in small increments-- while a majority of dims hold the seats. It will be easier to hold the pubbies feet to the fire of our indignation, if they hold the majority of seats because they will respond to threat to oust them while dims know the manipulation game so well, they don't believe conservatives can get them out!

The DNC begs to be demonized on a daily basis for all they stand for. A spade is a spade. A hoe is a hoe. A liar is a liar. Corruption is criminal. Garbage is garbage.

May I add to what all the great FReepers here have stated about the evil Democrats: It is a mortal sin to vote for a Democrat.

Waco was evil. The killing of innocent men, women, children and babies is evil. Torturing them for weeks on end, gassing them, and then burning them alive is pure evil. This was perpetrated by a corrupt and evil Democrat Administration and covered-up by corrupt and evil Democrat Congressmen and Senators, many of whom you are saying should be allowed to remain in office even today.

But, at the time of the Waco hearings, the Republicans had a majority in the house and senate. Why did they lets us down Jim? Why didn't they get to the truth of the matter?

The cover-up was so complete that most still don't realize that everyone was already dead when the place burned. Some, apparently dead for weeks. The fire was merely a means to destroy the evidence. See: Waco Holocaust Electronic Museum

Where were all the Republicans when this needed to be discovered? Name one Republican who asked that Congress review the autopsy reports of the victims? Where was the Republican who cross examined the young female witness that falsely claimed to be molested by Koresh? Where was the Republican that pointed out that child molestation (which did not occur) even if it did occur, is not under federal jurisdiction? Where were the Republicans that called for criminal investigations into the gov'ts assault on Waco?Where were they?

They're all the same Jim. You're making your site, and all your previous efforts lose credibility with this blind support for them.

I'm to the point that I really don't care who is in power. Nothing will change. DC is a cesspool, and if you hang around a cesspool long enough you inevitably begin to smell like crap.

I've seen how legislatures work. When it comes to increasing gov't power, one or two may voice some objection, but those objections are largely ignored, by both sides of the aisle. When it comes to investigating one of their own, forget it. The truth will never see the light of day, because they ALL have dirt on their hands. It is only those who do not "play ball" that may find themselves taking a fall.

The corruption is complete. It matters little who has the majority.

47% of all federal judges currently sitting on the bench were appointed by Clinton.

The reason this is so shameful is because he fired all the district judges when he took office just so he could replace them. I don't believe it had been done before to this degree anyway.

Somebody posted a quote from Claire Wolf the other night [from my so-called memory]"
"It's too late to work within the system, and too early to start shooting the bastards."

Whoo Whee, Max !! I made somebody unhappy when I pinged this article. Here's a FReep mail from someone on the ping list.....

"and I count voting for a third party candidate when knowing that he has absolutely no chance of defeating the Democrat, and worse, actually planning and hoping to knock out the Republican candidate who otherwise might have defeated the Democrat, as doing nothing"

Take me off your ping list NOW.

I wonder if they've ever voted GOP???

I love the Constitution.

That the Democrats hate the Constitution is no basis for assuming that the Republicans love it, either.

B/S. The crime and the cover-up were directed by the Clintons. General "Stonewall" Reno perfected her blocking techniques here that she successfully uses to this day to protect the Clinton Administration and cover-up their crimes.

Vote the RATs out. The country cannot survive another round of Democrat corruption.

More b/s. The Republicans are much closer to my beliefs than the Democrats. Smaller government, cut taxes, cut spending, strong military, individual rights, pro-gun, pro-life. The RATs are just the opposite. Vote the RATs out!

There is no possible way we can Vote ALL the RATs out.
Unfortunately, the country cannot avoid another round of Rinocrat corruption, imo.

My concern is that the republicans are headed down the same path . . .

That's my concern too. And there circumstances in which I would not vote for the Pubby. If Riordan won the GOP nomination for Calif. gov. I would vote Libertarian or whatever. But I certainly wouldn't throw a prissy fit and vote third party because Simon is not perfect.

Also, if Riordan was the GOP nominee for Senate, I would vote for him in a second. For those who love the Constitution, a RINO senator is better than a Dem senator. Conservatives control the GOP leadership which means the committee chairmen will be generally conservative, and pro-Constitution judges will be able to be appointed..

The Dems are an evil party. .
