You would have us wait to deal with threats, and wait, and wait, until finally the logic of dealing with it becomes unavoidable. If history is any indication (particularly that of Nazi Germany), the blood price to get rid of the threat, the numbers of brave men who must die to destroy it, grows the longer you wait.
