President Bush met with President Alvaro Uribe of Colombia today, and discussed the war on terrorism, as well as Columbia's continued efforts in fighting the illegal drug trade. Bush also met with the Boys and Girls Clubs National Youth of the Year finalists in the White House. This evening, the President attended the National Republican Senatorial Committee dinner at the National Building Museum. Meanwhile, First Lady Laura Bush was in Mexico City attending the 11th Conference of Spouses of Heads of State and Government. Enjoy your daily dose of Dubya!

Speaking of the 10 o'clock hour... * in 3 minutes-

I am going to commit to memory and action- prayer/prayerful thoughts on behalf of our President, the First Lady, and our nation. I will do this at 10AM EST, which will be 9AM CST. If a more convenient time is proposed, I will adjust accordingly.

Let's roll (with this idea).

PS Another thought... if we pray for our President in our respective time zones, say at 10AM... then prayers will happen at 10AM in the EST zone, and will continue to occur across the nation in relation to the EST zone, (on the hour) for another 3 hours.

At 11AM EST, prayers will be taking place in the CST zone, at 12 NOON EST, prayers will be taking place in the MST zone, and at 1PM EST, prayers will be taking place in the PST zone.

Prayers will occur at 10am, 11am, 12noon, and 1pm for our President.

Just some food for thought. What say yee ?

I was able to open up the webcast link, but I am not getting any sound. Has anyone else successfully opened this link, that is provided on the White House website ?

I think that the only reason why I am suspicious, is because this is such an incredulously inept and unacceptable behavior, coming from the very person questioning the patriotism of our President.

President Bush handled it quite well I might add. He pretty much ignored the blithering fool.

I just refreshed the White House link and noticed that the hot link for the webcast is missing now. A picture from Sep. 24, of the President and his cabinet, is now in the place where the banner link was. Maybe heavy traffic was responsible for removing it, or the speech is over ?
