Did you notice that the ever even-handed NYTimes described this as the anti-abortion supporters blocking the bill, when, in fact, it was the pro-aborts who stuck in the provision in the first place to target only pro-life protestors?

Equality before the law has no place in the NYTimes' world when it comes to pro-lifers. :-(

I wonder how likely anyone is to get away
from court mandated fines by declaring
bankruptcy?  Is it something we can all
do now?

Chapter 7 is sometimes known as a "straight bankruptcy" or liquidation, and results
in a discharge of all eligible debts. Some debts cannot be discharged, such as
certain student loans, child support, or court ordered fines and restitution

If I have this correct, and I may not, what the anti-abortion protestors
want is an exemption for themselves from what happens to every one
else.  They want not equal treatment, but exception to it.

I noticed The New York Times' take and spin bigtime.

Why isn't the paper mad at Senator Schumer for introducing this needless and vindictive addition based on his support from the vilest of special interest groups - the abortion industry and abortive feminazis?
