I think Bill Clinton is one of these. After all, he camped out in the Whitehouse, trashed his surroundings, worked the con within 'the lib/dem family', married by arrangement (hers), used people as a means to an end, scammed people by selling his cheap substitutes for policy, cheated on everyone, and lied to law enforcement.

Perhaps the American people were so embarassed for having been taken in the first term that they voted for him again so as not to have to admit to being taken. It might also explain why people keep giving him $100K everytime he shows up to make a worthless speech. They are all so embarassed by their mistake that they hand him a check and go away quietly. Might explain why these groups/countries have never asked him for encore/return visit?

Most interesting. Most of us assume that we can never be taken by con artists. But it sounds like there's plenty of victims out there.

I think that this is an extention of the Irish Clan system. Leaving out the theft and scamming, my mothers attitude to the world outside of the family matches that of these people exactly. You never, never talk to anyone out side of the family about anything.

yet Murphy Village is by far the largest, most affluent, and best known of all the populations of Irish con artists.

This article is incorrect. The Kennedy compound owns that distinction.

And now the Irish Travelers are the latest persecuted minority. There was a guy just now on Bill O'Reilly who represents people of "Roma" descent and he was saying that it's all about prejudice, etc., etc., etc. Sickening.

From the same website:

WHEN PETTY CRIME ISN’T

To provide you with some idea about the extent of the problem caused by Gypsy criminal groups, I’ve used statistics obtained from a national crime survey, which I conducted some years ago, along with other information obtained from various federal and state crime statistics.

The following figures are based on a review of two major (non-Gypsy related) crime categories: Robbery and Burglary.

The average dollar losses associated with those two categories were:

ROBBERY $ 628.00 per offense

BURGLARY $ 953.00 per offense

By comparison, I examined a random sample of 1,289 so-called Gypsy petty theft cases from various regions within the US. The total loss in this sampling amounted to $18.1 million.

It would take 28,821 robberies or 18,992 burglaries to equal the losses associated with the 1,289 Gypsy criminal group offenses.

You might want to question anyone who claims such crimes are petty, and therefore unworthy of any serious law enforcement attention.

Two well written pieces here. Enjoyed especially the article on the United Kingdom travellers. That author seems both humane and no nonsense- maybe that is impossible over there.

Let us hope that the full blare of exposure re this angry lady (Gorman-Toogood) just happens to coincidentally inform people. The African Nigerian connections seem to be well publicised, yet people still get taken. (Southfield law firm).

Could we hope for a Barbara Walters type expose on the laughing lads of scam? Or even CNN?

Toogood's Husband Has Long Rap Sheet

From the article: According to court documents obtained by Fox News, Johnny, during his confession, said, "I’m down on my luck and I just needed money for my family. It’s not right that a lot of people make a lot more money. All the men in my family do this. This isn't a violent crime."

What a loser!
