[history]
The tenor of Wednesday's remarks by Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle on the administration's conduct on Iraq saddens me. The Senate should be deliberately debating the threat Iraq's weapons of mass destruction pose against the United States. Instead, we've heard deliberate and inflammatory accusations that a president of the United States is using the possibility of war for political purposes.

Pow! Right in the kisser. I wonder if the WP and NYT rejected Lott's piece before he sent it to the WT.

Don't worry. If history is any guide, Lott will retract this column and apologize by the weekend.

Is that photo for real? I can't believe even a guy like Daschle would be so stupid. Oh, maybe I can. Every time I see Daschle I'm reminded of the actor who played the "bad uncle" in the film "Hellraiser."

Don't be such a boob. Lott did the right thing. Can't you even manage to give credit, where credit is due ? Are you this much of a biased, blinkered, rude, naif ?

Again, Lott is fuzzy. The GOP needs to be bold and say the words "LABOR UNIONS!" That's exactly who the DEMs are looking out for. W had it right. He needs to be clear and repeat it over and over.
The DEMs stand for their special interests. LABOR UNIONs indeed come before national security to DEMs. This message is getting muffled. It needs to be amplified.

That was the prime minister of Great Britain, whose country was not attacked on September 11, nor were his country's leaders the target of Saddam's assassins. Ours were. If Senate Democrats really wanted to depoliticize this debate, they would seek to rally the country and the world around one simple proposition: Saddam is a clear and present danger. The American people would prefer to see the majority leader focus his contempt and passion where it rightfully belongs.
Dasshole is an enemy of the country and should be removed by voting in republicans, enough republicans so hildebeast's stolen FBI files can't be used to force them to the dark side like benedict jeffords
