His firsst solution is higher taxes which is bigger government." Jeb telling the audience that McBride's idea for using the FCAT for accountability would cost them ed. $$$. Jeb letting the audience know he KNOWS what's going on. McBride makes things up.
To: NautiNurse
the "tax and spend" question sounded a little biased to me. but that's ok, haha

Even Michael Putney just sighed with a frustrated look on his face. I think the fat Mitch Miller routine is verrrry distracting. He is unprepared, and very nervous, except about five minutes ago, he looked like he was trying to wish himself away to another planet.

Like Ragtime Cowgirl said before -- if Jeb can keep his cool with this thug, he's definitely the man we want.
Of course, we knew that anyway!
To: seraphMTH
Maybe they'll now help us get the word out about him...he's pretending to be Mr. Moderate (with the press's help). WE have the goods...ping if you need details. (^:

Let me say I will vote for Jeb.....this is not a time for on the job training and that's what we'll get with McBride....
No more it's all about the kids, the children.....democrat crapola
To: PhiKapMom
We see that but remember Libs are not logical....and looking for handouts & MORE programs.

Another Freeper said:
This McBride guy, the lawyer who beat Janet Reno, should know better. He's an ex-Marine, for heaven's sakes. He's running on a platform promising to improve the state's schools an interesting claim given that he is the hand-picked, lavishly financed candidate of the Florida teachers unions and the National Education Association (NEA), the very people who have wrecked Florida's schools.
To: The Wizard
haha...the worst "answer" McBride has given IMO is that to turn Florida's economy around, we need to improve the education system. What a one-issue guy! Yea...even if the system were to improve, can anyone say...immediate and expedient solution???
To: PhiKapMom
FCAT issue:
McBride only weaken testing, kids shouldn't be stressed. Get real. They will be tested EVERYDAY in the real world, outside the teachers union. You can really tell he's bought and paid for by the FEA.
To: JulieRNR21
Uh-oh -- Jeb just used the "A" word (Accountability) in regards to education and FCAT standards. You could see the sweat break out on McLawyer's brow.
To: NautiNurse
Moderator..."teaching to the test.." do these Dems. all read the very same talking points? McBride attacking Jeb again."It's almost as if the Governor has not been in our public schools. I think what the Gov. needs to do is spens a little more time listening to parents, to teachers." GRRR. anyone here kNOWS how much time Jeb spent with teachers, parents..as does liar McBRide!
To: Nayt2
I've lived in Florida for 45 years and I've never been so embarrassed....not so much by McBride, but by the LAME QUESTIONERS! GOD THEY'RE STUPID!!!!
To: PhiKapMom
With the comparison of the two side by side, how could anyone vote for McBride over Jeb? Just from the little I've heard in the past few minutes... you are SO right! McBride seems really out of his league.

It's on a lot of channels in Florida. McBride mumbles, says the same thing over and over in just a bit different manner. He has Zip to offer.
