Get a clue FReepers.

Our middle-of-the-road, tax&spend, weak-on-the-2nd Amendment, 6th district congressman is not a choice for governor.

Lovers of liberty that we are, need look elsewhere.

We'll hold this discussion for another thread, that our good friend Doug Fiedor will write about soon enough.

For now this thread is dedicated to our dirtbag Democrat governor who's now on the ropes politically.

Any mention of Patton is gone from the on-line Courier Journal today. Am I surprised? To come out ahead in this, the republicans are going to have to battle the free advertising the C/J gives the democrats.

The republicans have been nice guys standing on the sidelines through the past couple of weeks. The republican party as a whole now needs to come forward and expose the Patton philandering for what it is - just the tip of the iceberg within the democrat party. Bring up Steve Henry and medicare, his wedding being planned by state workers, his wife getting state money for doing nothing. Is Ben Chandler the squeeky clean Attorney General he wants us to think he is? I am sure there is plenty of dirt floating around the halls of the state capitol and now is the time to drag it out. Rub their noses in it!

It's certainly entertaining to watch the Dems squirm as they struggle with what to do about Patton. They know more is coming on his abuse of power and other women. Isn't that a shame? Not.

Ben Chandler is clearly the Dems next candidate and he benefits from being aggressive in pursuit of Patton through the Atty General investigations. But who else will get caught up in the net as more is revealed about Patton's corruption? I'll bet many Dems aren't sleeping very well these days. What fun (for us.)
