I am sorry for myself, for having missed her friendship over some silly issue that somehow seems so much less than important right now. I wanted to flag her to the threads where the old wars were still being waged. But foolish pride stood in the way.

People, it's so important that we take a deep breath sometimes, that we do not allow mole hills to grow into mountains, it's so important that we listen to the whispered warnings of the better angels of our nature.

I know now, without a shadow of a doubt, that there's a little boy, somewhere in Cuba, who has gained a fierce, and loyal angel guardian.

My condolences carlo, you were a good friend to her, and without a doubt, she's watching over you as well.

There is a song on the Christian radio station I listen to that makes me turn it up and just meditate on the words; it narrates a story that is very similar to yours...not overcoming anger before it is too late etc. Anyway, it is really powerful and just about makes one pull over to the side of the road to examine their own life.....
