N.J. Senator Had Symbiotic Relationship With Executive
--SNIP-- Torricelli and his ex-wife Susan Holloway Torricelli, a Democratic fundraiser whom Torricelli still considers his closest friend, introduced Chang to McAuliffe, now chairman of the Democratic National Committee. After receiving assurances from Torricelli about Chang's legitimacy, McAuliffe signed on as a consultant to Chang, agreeing to line up U.S. insurance companies to invest in Korea Life, a giant troubled insurance company the South Korean government had placed on the auction block.
McAuliffe traveled to Korea with Chang in the summer of 1999 but severed his dealings with him and left the country when Chang seemed to have trouble coming up with initial money for the deal. McAuliffe was paid $170,000, two former Chang associates said, though a spokeswoman for McAuliffe said the amount was actually less than $100,000.
--SNIP-- "David Chang was my friend. We were friends for several years," Torricelli said at a fiery news conference last month (April 2001) in which he vowed to fight for his reputation.
"Like the president of the United States, other members of Congress and business associates, I believed David's representations. Now we know that everything about his life, from his marriage, addresses, places and dates of birth, and businesses, were complete fabrications. Indeed, none of us really know who David Chang really is, or what he is."

Clinton and McAuliffe are in the thick of Torricelli's dirty dealings all the way up to their crooked eyeballs.
We need to do a timeline on all of Clinton and McAuliffe's grubby money-making activities within and outside of the conniving Clinton administration, and name the various crooks and con artists pals of McAwful and Clinton starting with master money launderer and tax cheat Marc Rich.
Then, with any luck, the only number which will matter to this ex-senator is the number of years he will be sentenced to at Ft. Leavenworth.
...have new links I just found regarding the Torch, McAuliffe, Chang, and a little about the clintons.
Also, have you seen this?
Real prison, not tennis club "holding facilities" -- but stone walled and iron bars prison.
I suspect at least 20 percent of our congress critters should be charged and tried....
Semper Fi
As usual the media protects it's own & hasn't wideky reported the Clinton/McAwful/Torch/Chang connection!
I wonder....if a convincing timeline/dossier (showing the money links between them) were complied and sent to O'Reilly & Hannity; perhaps they might start to ask pertinant questions?
But as someone said...maybe the best we can hope for is that the Torch is repudiated (like Condit was) by NJ voters.
That's exactly how it looks to me- if we can find so much in the public domain, there's a lot more a real investigation should reveal.
