When, if ever in your lifetime, was the government what it was supposed to be? Our government has not ever been "what it is supposed to be". The only morally legitimate purpose of state, is the defense of individual rights. Any function outside those bounds, is immoral.
And, in your lifetime, who was the best president? (My vote goes to Reagan, I believe he was great!)
Certainly Reagan espoused the rhetoric I agreed with most. (but he failed to be true to his own words). Calvin Coolidge was probably the greatest president this nation has seen.

Alright, I like that first answer, but the second is suspect. Although, I do not know alot about Coolidge, he was a tiny bit before my time. But none-the-less, I think you've finally convinced me that you're at least not a commie. Congradulations! :-)
