I can relate.
One time my (former) wife and I were sitting in her parents' living room, talking with her younger sister and a couple of the sister's friends.
They were boasting about shop-lifting from the local Safeway.
I listened for a while, then I exploded.
Don't you know it's ok to steal depending on who you are stealing from? Silly boy.
It says volumes about their parents that they would be willing to discuss it in front of you with no embarrassment.
