I guess we'll have to agree to disagree here, because I don't believe that Bush advocates larger government. He's trying to clean up the mess that accumulated over 8 years of the Clinton Adminstration, when terrorists were pretty much welcomed within our borders. When I clean house, I typically tear it apart before putting it back together again. Our government cannot do this while their hands our tied out of fear our civil liberties may be imposed upon. In order to protect the country, they must have some leeway. Otherwise they may as well hand the keys over to the extremists, and give up peacefully.
Shall I list the larger government inititives and programs HE has proposed? Not to mention the ones he has gone along with.

I disagree with this statement totally. Anyone who usurps my rights is my enemy, foreign or domestic.
