Hmmm... You don't suppose that free men might actually defend themselves if not debarred the use of arms by the state... do you?

Absolutely. But what I do not understand is how the government is supposed to rid the U.S. of terrorists, many of whom are citizens of this country, if their hands are tied by the very citizens they are trying to protect.

It always amazes me how willing much of our population is to send troops all over the world, at the same time as being so reluctant to actively defend themselves at home.
