If you want to send all guests of the country from certain countries home, it would be ok with me during times of conflict. Suspending my constitutional rights, (without even a declaration of war, I might add) does nothing to address the problem.

Our enemies are here not only as guests, but many are citizens. (Many because the Clinton Admin. handed out citizenship to anybody to boost the democratic vote.) Many people have a problem with treating even the guests in the way that you suggested.

I'm fairly certain that the rights of those guys they busted in NY were trampled upon. I'm certain their phones were tapped and they had no privacy. And I'm glad. I don't know any other way to look at it. They hate the very country that gave them the freedom to dissent. In their own countries, they would never have had that freedom. I don't support 'big brother' but I truly know of no other way to protect this nation at this time.

Governments throughout history have used "wars and the threats of wars" to denigrate their citizens rights. Everything is a national emergency of some sort.

Hitler used this particular strategy all the time.

Franklin had it right when he said, (paraphrased) "Those who would give up their liberty for security, deserve and will have, neither".

I will defend rights no matter what, they are the only thing that separates us from a banana republic.
