I think if you read the original post, you would be able to find out if the kids were working McD's

I read the original post and noted that the kids were indeed working at McDonald's , which was why I was confused by Motley's comment to the effect that they needed get jobs and pay taxes.

As far as I know, McDonald's does pays its employees and the paychecks that McDonald's disburses are subject to state & federal tax.

Motley's original interest in them was an "Anti-Flag"

When I ride the bus to work, I notice that about one out a hundred people will similarly take issue with the hairstyle/clothing/etc. of the bus driver, and will kick up a fuss in an attempt to engage the bus driver in a dispute.

What these "special attention required" passengers don't seem to realize is that the busdriver in question is probably overworked, poorly paid, is undoubtedly performing a service for them, and and probably deals with more than a thousand people per day.

I often wonder what it is about these "special case" passengers that causes them to imagine that the busdriver is going to put all of the other dozens of people waiting board the bus on hold so that he can personally debate his clothing which each and every obstreperous passenger who chooses to take issue with it.

What usually hapopens is that the busdriver says something like "Look, I don't have time for this nonsense. Are you going to get on the bus, or not?"

So, you defend these people who are anti-American?

I have a bit more sympathy for fast food workers, then I do for deluded patrons who imagine that their $4.39 entitles them to debate tsome pimply-faced teen at the counter about something that has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of the junk food. .

Motley is right, you are a liberal, at best.

No, I'm just used to living in a big city where most people are too busy for this sort of stuff.

I read she was in line and looked to the left and saw these kids. I guess to me it indicated they were in line, also. Yep, I agree, it is a fashion these days, but in this case, MotleyGirl actually outted them as being anti American. In this case, I think she was right on. If you know MG70, you would know she wouldn't pick a fight based on attire or looks, etc.
