The constituents of these four are beyond pale with their support DemocRATs first policy! This was AP breaking news but to me it didn't deserve to be Breaking News on FR -- we already know what worthless Reps these four are!

But in their home districts, four Democratic members of the House appear to be suffering little political fallout from their visits to Iraq. I read an article earlier that said Bonior and McDermott were receiving a lot of negative mail from their constituents. I'm sorry, I don't have time to look for the link right now.

If they really believe what they are saying, why don't they offer to make themselves human shields for their beloved buddy, Saddam? They could warm his lap at nights, hug and snuggle with him, and if he gets killed, they die with him. Then I'd believe they really believe what they are saying.

George Dignan, 58, of Seattle, said he applauded McDermott's willingness to take an unpopular stand: ``I appreciate a politician who will act on his convictions rather than what the opinion polls tell him to do.'' .....as he sat cross-legged on the sidewalk, creating a likeness of McDermott out of his own feces.

Those congresspersons have not yet taken sufficient heat. What is sufficient? Oh, about 1,000,000 degrees C next to Baghdad Bubba's bunker for Jim 'Eavesdropper' McDermott and his entourage...

They have been called dupes of Saddam Hussein, at best. Their harsher critics have called them traitors.I would call them "non-uniformed enemy combatants".

The four traitors should be sent back to Iraq, after Saddam is ousted, to explain their actions to the Iraqi people!
