It's far more rewarding, personally, vocationally, and evangelistically, to serve the God of victories. Try it!

Many scholars missed the part that said the end times must include Israel becomming a nation again. Before they make a big deal, they should at least make sure EVERYTHING is in place. Right now, we need the rebuilding of the temple. Otherwise, the Anti-Christ can't create an image to stand in it. "When you see the abomination of desolation standing in the temple...flee."
God will prevail, but humans need to learn the difference between good and evil. Satan claimed he could take the place of God. God is allowing him to be the prince of the air right now. The angels who did not commit treason are watching. Satan rules the air, and walks to and fro across the earth. He will eventually replace the soul of a man, and become world leader.
"Do not be afraid. These things must occure." When Satan royally screws up, and man kind follows him into almost total destruction, mankind will learn war no more. They will understand. There will be 1000 years of peace, because God has won.

Islam is particularly a violent and extremely barbaric religion. However, by definition ALL religions tend to be too partial to their way is better then others. You cannot imagine a preacher preaching that his church is not the best, and the other churches or synagogues down the street are better?

By an account of a researcher, there are more than 600 religions on earth. That by itself shows that if people need to worship a creator, why they need so many ways to deal with the same creator. The answer is MARKET SHARE! The clergy who produce nothing and live off others, must keep their market share and even expand it in order to enhance their influence and effectively their income. Hence the idea of illustrating the difference between the way their church and its ways of doing things is better then the others.

How I wish we had better spokesmen who could realize that the best way to advance our cause is not to go around sticking your fingers in someone's eye just to make a point.

I disagree.

If you think that a flame-thrower is what conservatives need as a spokesman, you are a indeed a "young" conservative.

BTW, although Ronald Reagan was a great conservative, he was not inflammatory.

Falwell is in for alot of "INCOMING FIRE"from the Muslim community.

Yeah, they'll probably blow up his ass to prove how peaceful they are.

Falwell has some kind of seething anger just below that calm exterior of his and it bubbles to the top occasionally.

True, but I see his point. The culture of death can be overwhelming sometimes. The religious right sits back and watches the deaths and hypocracy of it all like a horror movie. All they can do is watch it happen. It's not that they haven't tried to warn them, they just don't get it. In the meantime, many die, many more will die, become impoverished, and fall into dispare.

At the beginning, he was a charlatan.

He was a used car salesman. He sold camels for a living. "Yep. This camel only has 5 miles under it's skin. Honest. I swear to Alla."

Riight, how can Farewell ignore the chance that lovers of Islame will turn away from Bush to vote for the RATS?

Gimme a break. There are few truths which need to be spread more widely than those about Islame and the Murderous Minions of Mad Mo (piss be upon his head.)

But he hides this anger well with his smug finger-pointing.

Jerry, not very helpful in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. If I was 'lost' and a Muslim and I heard Jerry Falwell call my religious prophet a 'terrorist', Christianity would be the last place I would turn to. Even if I agreed with Falwell, for a man claiming to be a messenger of the Gospel, this is not helpful in "making disciples of all nations."

Very true. And isn't there a Scripture about God loving a 'contrite heart'?

I'm pretty sure Jerry Falwell will get along quite well without being instructed in scripture by one who hate it. There's another scripture about Satan being able to quote scripture to suit his own purposes. And let's not forget the one about those who curse the Jews will be cursed.

Here's a prayer for you: "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is Near".

He'd be better off talking about the gay Teletubby again, another incident that made him look the fool.

I saw him interviewed about the teletubby deal. He claimed it was a total Media fabrication, and that he had no idea what a teletubby was, till he heard the Media run with it. Never underestimate the leftists bent toward evil. They will lie to your face, if it furthers the cause of socialism/communism. He should, however, wait till after the elections. The Media are trying to set him up again, and sometimes he has been too willing to take their bait.

perhaps, but let's cast this in a slightly different light and see if one comes to the same conclusion ...

If I was 'lost' and a Muslim A WWII GERMAN and I heard Jerry Falwell HARRY TRUMAN call my religious prophet a 'terrorist' CHANCELLOR A DICTATOR, Christianity DEMOCRACY would be the last place I would turn to.

sometimes it's better to just go ahead and say it ... as for comparing Mohammed to Hitler, if the shoe fits, wear it ... in light of recent actions, and history, I'd say it's a pretty comfortable fit ...

“I think Mohammed was a terrorist. I read enough…by both Muslims and non-Muslims, [to decide] that he was a violent man, a man of war,” Falwell tells CBS. “In my opinion…Jesus set the example for love, as did Moses, and I think Mohammed set an opposite example.”

Nothing factually incorrect here. Politically incorrect, yes. But when did liberals ever care about facts?
