So let me get this straight. He should only say bad things about Islam and the "prophet of peace" in non-election years? Got anymore freedom-loving ideas?

Is that a fact. Well Jerry Falwell & The Moral Majority were very instrumental in getting Ronald Reagan elected.
And President Reagan considered Mr. Falwell a friend as well as spiritual adviser.
I think Ronald Reagan would be better at determining who gives conservatives a "bad rap" than yourself.
