This man is a phoney and a legend in his own mind.

If all muslims religeously followed the koran, as Bo Gritz claims, and will never attack without provocation, how does he explain Iraq invading Kuwait? All the wars between the middle eastern countries over the centuries, the wars between worlords of muslim tribes?

How is it these peacefull Allah obedient people have killed each other for thousands of years?

Sounds like hogwash to me.

Bo doesn't know much about Islam.

Qur'an (9:5) "Kill the unbelievers wherever you find them, capture and besiege them and prepare for them every kind of ambush."

Qur'an (8:39) (2:193) "Make war on them until idolatory does not exist any longer and Allah's religion reigns universally."

Not only that; how can he account for other attacks on America for the last 11 years, up to and including 9-11, when we hadn't provoked them? It's just like they were trying to get attention, and weren't getting it, so their attacks got worse and worse! I think they are trying to see how far they can push us, so even if we don't attack, or there's not much of a war, we still need to show force, or strength. For that's really the only thing these people respect!

Yeah there's always the possibility of revenge attacks, there are always risks involved. But there's also the risks in doing nothing. I don't think this man, and others like him realize this. They are not in the loop anymore, even though they may have contacts.

Besides, what makes them think that they, and those that agree with them, know more than all the people in the administration, and congress, and some of our allies know? They may mean well, but do they expect us to sit in our bunkers and holes and suck our thumbs? Who was it who said something about "peace through strength"?, I think it was Mr. Washington, but I'm not sure.

I don't recall Mr. Washington, and the others saying: "Let's hide in our homes and bunkers now, and wait until the British go home, we don't want them to get revenge on us, you know!"(grim chuckle). Anyway, we may still need to brandish a gun, but we can hope it might scare the enemy away. But if he doesn't, we better be ready to use it!
