Wow. A very interesting twist in this story. The DNA tests seem to be taking a long time. I wonder if the investigators are delaying making the results public in order to allow for investigating other angles that might be closed if her identity is annouced.
I bet Jerry Bledsoe is taking notes, this appears to be turning into one of his type of novels.

IMO, the guy they are looking for is a serial killer. The skeleton was found a couple of weeks ago which is not long enough to allow for natural decay. That means that the skeleton probably belongs to another victim. And that means at least 4 victims and 3 murder scenes.
