I agree. Notice they mentioned an exit wound. From long range that would rule out most handgun calibers.

Well, a .22 magnum, .357, or .44 would probably go through you at 100 yards if fired from a rifle. If fired from a handgun then still possible, but the bullet wouldn't have as much energy as if fired from a rifle.

ON Fox news this afternoon they mentioned a High Powered small calaber rifle, with possibly a silencer.
