Toronto lights Explosions

At 11:20 p.m. bright flashes of blue and green light covered the eastern sky. Looking out the window it looked like a huge explosion of some sort with the sky lit up for about 30 seconds...with continuous flashes of blue and green light. Not sure what it is that I am seeing....after about 10 minutes there was another flash for about 10 seconds of blue and green light.

It is raining in Toronto...very windy...low clouds...the flashes of lights lasted the first time for about 30 seconds...illuminating the eastern sky brightly...with flashes of color. Then there was nothing...after a few minutes it started up again and was shorter but just as bright. Perhaps some sort of transformer explosion...or something. It was so brilliant the flashes...it appeared to be explosions. Still waiting to hear what it was

Well not hearing any sirens or anything...it must not be anything major. The amount of light produced by the flashes was tremendous...must be a major transformer station out somewhere.

No one could have dreamed we were being scrutinized, as someone with a microscope studies creatures that swarm and multiply in a drop of water. Few men even considered the possibility of life on other planets and yet, across the gulf of space, minds immeasurably superior to ours regarded this Earth with envious eyes, and slowly and surely, they drew their plans against us.

At midnight on the fourth of October, a huge mass of luminous gas erupted from Mars and sped towards Earth. And that's how it was for the next ten nights. A flare, spurting out from Mars - bright green, drawing a green mist behind it - a beautiful, but somehow disturbing sight. Ogilvy, the astronomer, assured me we were in no danger. He was convinced there could be no living thing on that remote, forbidding planet.
