I am sure that we have people working toward that goal...but we have also weaponized lots of nasty chemical and bio-agents. I know we are supposed to have destroyed such stockpiles (and are still in the process of doing so at that facility in Utah). But if you are wondering, the answer is no...I don't see a moral equivalence between our research and production of these weapons and Saddam's research and production of these weapons. I am merely lamenting the reality that we must expend resources and talent in this field where we could be solving other problems instead.
