Md. Shooting Linked to Sniper Spree BOWIE, Md. –– The Washington-area sniper apparently struck again Monday, shooting and critically wounding a 13-year-old boy as his aunt dropped him off at school, authorities said.
Ballistics tests had linked the shooting to the slayings of six people in Maryland and Washington last week, federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms officials said.
The child, shot before the start of classes at Benjamin Tasker Middle School, was in critical but stable condition at Children's Hospital in Washington.

It will be interesting if this turns out to be a terrorist cell at work, considering that CNN has pronounced the "sniper" as a single while male.

That this killing of the schoolboy is linked to the 6 others. THe article states that the kid is in "critical but stable condition", that usually means he's not dead. So "shooting" should probably have been used instead of "killing".
Time to tell the Gun Grabbing Legislators, including those that sit on the DC council, to go to hell, and call out the (formerly) unorganized milita. A rifleman on every rooftop, at least of every school, strip center and shopping mall, might not deter these bozos, whoever they are, but it would stand a good chance of stopping them. The rifleman will need a spotter/defender, too, as well as someone to bring him coffee, tea or hot choclate, so even those of us a bit ballistically challenged can have a roll to play.

The profile of the suspect is that he is a mexican muslim that is most likely a white male that has problems maintaining relationships.
