Rush's fill-in says Sniper(s) is(are) Hispanic or similar...

Rush's fill in says police have BOLO for two hispanic men. When asked could they be M.E.'ers, source said - could be. Then the host went on to tie Gertz's book on 9/11 where a known Al-Qaeda cell was active in Prince George's County in the same town as one of the shootings.

concerned about politics,

Homeschool yes. I wouldn't even bother with the two weeks notice. Working and making money is so overrated. Where do some of you people live? The land of oz? I know you mean well but...nevermind, homeschool it is.

Maybe all thong wearers should be rounded up and sent off to intern camps?

Could be bad news for at least one particular infamous Freeper.

I agree with you. Most likely it is an ex-cop with an axe to grind against the local police. Maybe with a racial angle, as there is rampant affirmative action in the local Maryland PDs, plus a lot of pressure on white cops concerning police brutality toward black perps. Would not surprise me if this is a white former cop trying to show how incompetent the black police leadership in the area is.

Other possibilites are that one of the murders was deliberate and the others were done to throw LE off the one that was intentional (pretty elaborate and risky scheme, but who said criminals were rational); and terrorists taking target practice in preparation for assassinations of major government figures (a lot of them live in Maryland). I don't think this is garden variety terrorism just being done for its own sake to scare people.

Swarthy is the profile. We have thousands if not tens of thousands of sleepers and jihadist wqnnbes here now and, because of our open borders, armed jihadist infiltration is easy and by multiple reports, increasing.

To the government school educated, the darker, not quite-oriental features from the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, and other individuals' complexions to Moroco could easily be mistaken for hispanic.

A prison converted chico is also distinctly possible; unrepentant gang-bangers' salvation and a promise of the only virgins he could ever touch must be some motivation offered by the world's largest pyscopathic cult.

This spree should be treated acts of war by illegal combatants. As affirmed under our Constitution, We the People should go about our daily lives adequately armed and acting as the militia we are. Cops are outnumbered by those that they're sworn to protect and serve by some 3,000:1. We must ride to the sound of the guns and depend on "our cavalry" to show up ultimately to answer reporters' questions.

We are hearing John Ashcroft beating his chest all week long, bragging about what a wonderful job the Feds are doing rounding up these terrorists cells (The Boston 5, The Portland Trio).
Got bad news for you- there are thousands more sleepers still here. And dont forget who let them come here in the first place- our own Federal government!

And the head of that group in Laurel (PG County, like Bowie, and near both Bowie and the sites in Montgomery County) was an imam expelled from a mosque in Arlington, TX because he was too radical, right?

"Every civilian with 10 miles of these shootings could have been carrying a concealed handgun and it wouldn't have made a damn bit of difference."

Not true, as John Lott shows in More Guns, Less Crime. CCW laws reduce the occurence of random shooting sprees like this one just as much as they reduce the rate of more mundane crime. The victim does not personally have to shoot back for CCW to serve as a deterrent, any more than every murderer must be executed for the death penalty to serve as a deterrent.

To go from the general to the specific, Maryland's intensely anti-gun laws give the sniper more security. Only police have guns, and the police patrol in cars, so therefore the sniper knows to near certainty that as long as he can't be seen from a road, he can take as much time to set up a shot as he wants. Even if someone stumbled across him, the shooter would either shoot the discoverer and call it a day, or flee while the discoverer ran for help. CCW laws inject a third, much less attractive option for him to worry about: that the discoverer would shoot him first. No, it's not certain that that's what would happen, but it injects risk into what is otherwise a perfect crime, and that would absolutely make at least a "damn bit of difference."

You condemn someone for being racist, and you use a racist word like "redneck" yourself. Doesn't that mean you think you yourself ought to be interned?

Look at this morning's Washington Post article. Apparently the D.C. cops have found gunpowder traces at the wall of a church nearby. I don't know the church, but maybe you do. Look at the article.

<< When will the conspiracy freaks be claiming the US Government is behind these killings? Any guesses? >>

Given that a large part of "the US Government;" including effectively ALL of our courts; is in the hands of the Evil anti-American RICO-criminal gang headed up by US Senate Leader and first-ever American dictator, Yasser Daschle, which gang has wilfully placed its own and its standover and shakdown union crime-family cohorts interests ahead; specifically insofar as Homeland Security is concerned; of those of Our Beloved FRaternal Rebublic -- and ahead of those of Our very Civilization -- why not right now?

Thats right, a not so nice imam. If I were the FBI , Id be crawling all over that place. There are still some Arabs living in the area; I see them on occasion. Not so nice looking bunch, IMO.

I don't think you can get from Aspen Hill to Leisureworld in anything like 25 minutes on foot. Nor do I think you can get from Leisureworld to Kensington in an hour and a half on foot.

Nothing like 75% government workers. Look who the guy has shot. The first man killed, on Wednesday night, worked for NOAA, an agency of the federal government. As far as I know, he's been the only government worker so far. That's one out of seven.

There is also the bigwig radical cleric who lives over by the parkway and ADMITS to knowing Bin Laden. I somehow managed to catch him outside once. Had intended to harass him if I found him but then I realized he had had a clear view of my license plate number. There were young African Americans in Muslim dress nearby, as many of the African Americans in the area are Muslims of the sort that dress up like Middle Easterners. There was nobody else in the area, and from the way he acted around the kids it seemed they were being watched over by him.

I have been worrying ever since the LA riots that the Nation of Islam would hook up with a Middle Eastern fundamentalist group. It appears to be happening. Therefore I am inclined to believe that the current shootings could just as easily have been a native, well-trained Nation of Islam member as a Middle Eastern immigrant (though I lean away from the Nation of Islam theory). The gangs would make particularly good recruiting pools for Al Qaeda.

Look at this morning's Washington Post article.

You have an address for the specific article? I can't find it on a precursory glance at the Post's site.
