I've got to admit that as I sit here thinking about this, it does not seem quite believable. It doesn't really sound like the silent methodical killer we've followed for the last several days. Hope it's true - hope it's him - because if it is he just made his first mistake.

Or by the shooter itself. Several things "different" about the shooting of the kid, even though they 'matched' the bullets. The "matted area" indicating shooting from outside a vehicle and not behind much concealment either. The shell casing left behind, whereas in the earlier shootings, no brass was found. And now a Tarot card?

If I were a terrorist who had read up on criminal investigations, I would leave misleading clues--tarot cards, spent cartridges NOT from the weapon I shoot, et cetera.
