The picture of the death card that they show on FNC is of a knight on a horse. crusader? There are several verions of tarot cards. I would like to know if this knight on the horse is the one they actually have.
I think you may be right. It made me recall a picture in a c. 1850 book I have..about Mohammed, Muslims, etc..
The summary of the picture is: A Muslim warrior with a sword in one hand and the Koran in the other.

Chances are it is the Death card with the knight on horseback. That's the image from the Rider-Waite deck, by far the most popular deck around. Anybody with only a casual acquaintance with Tarot probably has a Rider-Waite deck.
The other most common image is death walking with the scythe, the Grim Reaper. The Tarot de Marseilles uses that image, as does Aleister Crowley's Thoth deck.

There are a lot of other limited distribution decks around with other images, but these three between them cover probably 99.9 percent of the decks in existence.
I don't think this has any occult significance here. The shooter (if he and not some thrill-seeking teenager dropped the card) just probably thought this would aggravate and frighten everyone.
