More often than not, I have mine (and all hoagies) "dry": no dressing at all. I've never had a cheese steak with cheese whiz...actually, I didn't even know eateries were PUTTING that muck on 'em until this thread! YUK...what is the world COMING to??

I'll have to take your word on Dalessandro's...haven't been back to Philly in about ten years.
