I thought of Klinger too, except Klinger was drafted into a combat position and the immorality of his refusal to serve his country was more open to debate. It seems like a patently craven move on this man's part to brazenly defy military code in an effort to get off the hook...it is not like being a shrink for four years and delaying your practice for that long is all that big a deal.

This idiot aside, I really wonder what the proper solution to this Don't ask, don't tell nonsense is, these days.
