Somebody was predicting this morning that the next sniper shooting would be off 270.

That would be me - see link below. I speculated they would go North up 270 and sited two possibilities off Germantown and Frederick exits, specifically. Does anyone know where Route 28 is off 270?

Sounds like a routine shooting incident, if that phraseology makes sense.

About as much sense as a "routine hijacking." These are terrible times, indeed. I have gotten to the point that when I hear of another suicide bombing in Israel, I say things like "Oh, good. Only six dead." Good grief, look at what they have done to us.

I'll take sketchy information on the quick from a FReeper anyday over slow edited (read screened for political correctness)and spun information from any "mainstream" media source (all wrong at least half the time anyway, in my experience).

I believe I heard on the news a while ago that it has now climbed over $300K. But running around with long guns might get a little dicey right now.

I can recall several, including an incident where a driver shot and killed a raging nutcase intent on mayhem. The 'road rager' had followed the guy and attacked him in a parking lot. Charges were not filed against the shooter, who had a permit to carry the loaded pistol in his car.

Another man in my area just had murder charges filed against him after killing a man by ramming him with his car in a 'rage' incident. It wasn't the first time he had done it.
