That's not true at all. Look at David(?) Horowitz. I think of a couple, fellow conservatives, with whom I am working on a campaign (their enlightenment is only a decade ago -- when they started going to Democrat affairs and started asking themselves, "Who are these people and what do we have in common with them? Uhhh...").
You want a Biblical reference, think Paul (fka Saul). The Bible admonishes: "Pray that they turn from their wickedness and live."
Redemption is always possible. Even for liberals. Pray for liberals.

You are correct. There is hope for them, I just become cynical sometimes when I see them in action.
