Helsinki bomb was built with "some sort of professional knowledge"

The 5-pound device, small enough for the suspect to conceal on his person, was packed with shotgun pellets and metal shards. The blast sent glass and steel flying and terrified 2,000 shoppers in the Myyrmanni mall, 10 miles north of Helsinki in the town of Vantaa.

"Nothing like this has ever happened in Finland before," said Prime Minister Paavo Lipponen, who called his government into an emergency session as mourners lighted candles and flocked to churches. "The information we have suggests that the explosives were constructed so as to cause the largest possible damage."

The unnamed suspect had no criminal record, police said. He was not believed to have been a political or religious extremist, according to Finnish media reports.

The prime minister described the incident as "an act of terror in a sense" because the blast tore through a mall busy with weekend shoppers. Finnish Chief Police Supt. Tero Haapala said the bomb was built with "some sort of professional knowledge." But he added: "At this moment we have no motive."

Probably get more productive here in the coming weeks. Deport, close borders and execute traitors should be the order of the day. I am livid that the nation has become so PC and weak acting of late.

I mean, really, can they release his name?!?!? If they give a name and it's Teemu Salanne, then I'll feel it was just a scum Finn getting revenge on the world.

WHY WONT THEY RELEASE THE NAME and his national origin(and I dont mean where he lived, where he is FROM)??

To quote John McClain from the movie DIE HARD "Welcome to the party pal!"

Islam, the Religion of Peace (tm) has declared war on the entire non-Muslim world. These acts of terrorism and murder in the name of their false god allah, aka Satan, are not going to stop. This is just the beginning and it is time that those in positions of leadership and authority in the West and throughout the civilized world realize it and fight to protect their populations from this bloody, accursed religion of war and bloodshed.
