I am disquasted by posts on yahoo about how this is US/Bush's fault.

Thanks for posting.
And ALL The Cable 'news' networks, including fox, have SUCKED in their (non) coverage of this attack.
US News Media; keeping us ignorant and complacent, all the time.
We decide, you veg.

Horrible. Why is this not getting more coverage in the US? Maybe Yahoo has it, but it's certainly not out on the airwaves in the big US of A. I'd bet most people here don't even know about it.

This is the world we bequeath to our children if the Islamists are not destroyed.
Fortunately, the problem of Islamism is self-correcting. Their total lack of discrimination undercuts the appeasers and potentially builds the broadest coalition in history. These pictures don't have to be translated into Hindu, Russian or Chinese. They speak for themselves.

Finally heard from my BIL this afternoon. He lives in Singapore and has a home in the area of the attacks so we were concerned. He said the area is totally shut down right now. For years before we had our terrorist attacks he had been telling us how vicious these Islamics are, and how they intend to take over the world for Islam. It never hit home with me until 911.

The only ingredient that's missing in this World War is that the animals are killing civilized people en masse while the civilized people of the world debate whether or not the animals should be exterminated. We'll know the war has begun when an Arab in America feels about as safe as an American would on the streets of Jakarta or Baghdad.
Let it be world war.

It's a war, plain and simple. Unfortunately, a public more concerned with "the economy" which can
really be wrecked by a well timed attack like this in American territory isn't aware of what the Bush Administration is dealing with.
Immediately taking over Iraq and "disappearing" Hussein would re-establish a precedent lost when the Islamists took over the American Embassy in Iran all those years ago. They have deluded themselves into thinking we are "soft."
Ppphhht!!

This is devasting. The fact that this much damage was done by a home made "car" bomb shows how vulnerable we really are. Cars haven't been undergoing scrutiny in urban areas. What's to stop this from happening at any mall or any busy street corner in any city in America? What happened in Bali should be a real wake-up call to any one who thinks things are "back to normal" after 9/11.
