Many many many tourists in Bali and especially in Kuta (I have been there in 1999 and in fact stayed at a hotel on the beach caled Alum Kul Kul...half mile from that night club)...EVERYONE there has a camera hanging off of them...IT is a HUGE tourist destination.

I understand,but the cloud you see in the pic is the fireball.It was also taken a considerable distance(safe) from the blast.If you look closely,there is still fire in the cloud,hence the word,fireball.IMO this is a still from a video camera.

Also,look to the bottom right of the pic,it appears to be someone else holding a camcorder.
