Yes....He tried to take the situation in 'Nam and transpose it to another war. he predicted that US troops were undertrained and ill equipped to play tag with the Republican Guard. He said the sands would be soaked with American blood. This guy is another Colin Powell. I read his book (the first one) and it was a good book on 'Nam but he's living in another world. Thank god for his service.....but it's time to move past the old days.
