CNN Headline News is reporting that a woman has been shot near a Home Depot in Falls Church, VA, and that authorities are investigating whether this is another sniper attack.

Regarding the gender pattern, FV ... I held my breath when the news reported tonight's shooting because female was next if the pattern was going to repeat. Sadly, that was the case ... sadly, whether male or female.
I'm not ready to venture who is responsible ... only that this is methodical, well planned, pretty much on schedule, organized, and victims are not random ... just my opinion.
Much prayer for our shattered families, our nation, and our President ...

As I said before, each of these deaths by themselves affect so many (family and friends). All of these deaths are affecting our nation. Brings to mind the "six degrees of separation" theory.

"Fox reporting that now people on the roads are running out of gas, after idling in traffic for 3 hours, complicating things even more." Man, what a bummer that would be. I'm sure no-one thought ahead about that happening. I do not let my vehicle get below less than half full on gas anytime anymore. Not since 911.
Obviously it's happening because everyone's too scared to go fill 'er up!

Yes. The "cream colored" Astro van description is all over the news now. Fox News was the one who had that eyewitness report wrong for quite some time earlier.
P.S.I worked the Willston Center election polling place (near there) for the Fairfax Co. GOP and Earley campaign last Nov. 2001 election day and believe me, after sunset, almost every voter who was not totally dark skinned looked "white" to me until they got close enough for me to make out their facial features. ;-)

What was your impression of our Fairfax County Chief of Police? As I posted earlier he's 5000 times better than that maryland idiot. I wish he became the lead spokesman. I just can't stand listening to the idiot from Maryland.

Like I mentioned a few minutes ago..I'm so glad we don't have to learn all of that to own a firearm for self-defense. Regardless, it has been very enlightening..
Of course I don't mind you giving your 2cents TOL... Seems to me that a malfunctioning firearm would one that had been damaged or altered..
